The $25 pimple

I did it. I took my 4-month-old baby to the doctor's office for a pimple. It's the same pimple that begged to be covered up by a purple bow in pictures. It's the same pimple that's been hanging around for 2 months or so. So, it's $15 for the co-pay and $10 for the prescription. I'm to apply a warm compress 2-3 times a day for 10 - 15 minutes at a time (I really don't see the 10 - 15 minute thing happening) and apply the ointment. Hopefully that scares the pimple right out of town never to be seen again.

Little Miss also has some weird dry patches on her arms and legs so we got that taken care of too. That was just expensive over-the-counter ointment and moisturizer. We have so much lotion in this house now just trying to find one that doesn't irritate her skin. Hopefully the Cetaphil works and we can stop trying different products.

On a happier note - chunky butt is now 13.2 pounds with a diaper and summer dress on. She's got the little baby fat rolls all over her legs. One is so roll-y that she has dry skin in the fold. She must be gearing up for another milestone like rolling, sitting up, finally getting a tooth or something else equally as great. Her nursing and sleeping habits have been off a little for about two weeks now which might also be part of the big gear up. She's been "talking" a lot more the past few days as well. It never gets old.
