Thankfully, the immunizations only had a minor impact this time around, with less than a 100 degree fever, and for less than 24 hours. That tells me her body is responding well to the first set of shots and is able to deal adequately with the next round and the actual disease the shots were designed to protect against.
Smiles have been plentiful lately, though the "talking" has only been prominent leading into nap time. It seems Isabel is a fan of singing no matter whether it's original material, or something a bit better. She pays very close attention and brings on the smiles and smirks.
She's also really focused on grabbing and pulling on her toys with both hands this week, which is quite a milestone since she would favor her right arm so much before. Not coincidently, she's ready to move up a diaper size finally. It seems like she's been wearing 1's forever now.
