Summer Update

Things have been a little crazy here. I'm still not caught up from Ryan's 2 weeks away. On top of that, Isabel's nap schedule is way out of whack. Some days she takes 2, some days just 1 really long one and there are the occasional days when she takes 1 tiny power nap. Today it looks like one really long one - she's been down for just about 2 hours so far.
It's been hot so we've been doing a few water things. We took her to the splash park again. This time she didn't have as much fun as the first time she was there, but she didn't run crying so I'll call it a success.


A few days ago we headed to Ripley's house for her first ever swim party. She's never been in a swimming pool before. Again, a little worried and clingy. She only cried once or twice but nothing major. She seemed to like the water okay, but wasn't quite sure of her surroundings.
