Developmentally she is still ahead of the game which, to me, says she is getting enough calories to the brain. We do have to go back in 3 months for another weight check to make sure she's at least maintaining. Her weight percentile dropped just slightly since the last time we were in. Our goal is 3-6 months of increasing percentile before we can take her off Pediasure. We've been starting back at square one with each appointment which is a bummer. We're tried everything we can think of, so if there are any suggestions out there, we'd be glad to hear them.
Friday was also "new word" day as well. She said "puppy" over breakfast, and it is her new favorite word. She says it over and over and over.....She says it even more if there is actually a puppy around. She's also picked up "zoo," "biz," and "sauce." Her vocabulary, both spoken and signed, is increasing all the time with new stuff coming out a few times a week.
Last night my niece babysat at her house so Ryan and I could go out to dinner for our anniversary. I'm not sure who had more fun - Busy or my niece. I was skeptical for a while that my niece would give over possession and let Busy go home. They all had a super fun time, and I'm guessing it won't be too difficult to arrange for that again. She did something that surprised me while she was there - she walked over to there fireplace, pointed and said "hot." This surprised me because at home, she climbs on the fireplace that hurt her. She isn't afraid of it nor does she ever say "hot." It's still a fun thing for her. But at least she did learn something from that experience.
